Entering a password

Every time you start LogonAssist you must enter a password.

If this is the first time you have used the program,  you will need to enter the password twice to avoid spelling mistakes.

If you have already used LogonAssist, it will ask you for the password for the last file you used.  The name of the file is shown at the top of the password entry box.

What if I want to open a different file to the one I last used?

Entering  the wrong password or no password at all does not prevent LogonAssist starting, so you can do either of two things:

  1. Enter the password for the file you actually want to open. Once LogonAssist has started, use Open File  to open the file you want.

OR

  1. Press Cancel at the Enter Password  for filename prompt (or enter any password you want).  Once LogonAssist has started, use Open File to open the file you want, and then use Enter Password  to enter the correct password for the file.
